WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

The skateboard Dispensary Machine is the brainchild of Shayne Bennett, Founder/CEO of Ultra Supply Company. As the patent holder of the unique dispensing technology, it comes as no surprise to us that Shayne came up with the essential formula to bring this idea to life. Once the owner and operator of a brick and mortar skateboard shop, Shayne was able to experience first hand the diificulties his customers were having with local shops in his are. Shops are typically open during traditional 9 - 5 hours of operation and most skaters skate after school or at night. Skate shops are usually in metropolitan areas which leaves an underserved customer residing in rural areas. Lastly, skate shops often have higher operating expenses which translates to higher prices that are passed on to the customer, resulting in less and less purchases.
HOW WE'LL CHANGE THE WORLD FOR SKATEBOARDERS
Shayne thought long and hard over a span of two years about creating the SDM. He wanted to address the concerns of his customers and provide a way for them to purchase their products at any time, day or night. Shayne also implemented a rewards program specifically tailored to young customers who do not have expendable dollars. As an added bonus, Shayne designed several programs for parents, grandparents, and the extended families of skateboarders who may not be particularly familiar with purchasing skateboards and accessories, but had a desire to do so on special occassions like birthdays and holidays. Shayne wanted the process to be fun, less intimidating, and cost effective for everyone.
THE BENEFITS OF HAVING AN SDM IN YOUR COMMUNITY
There are many benefits to having an SDM in malls, skate parks, and skate zones all over the world. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. The skateboard Dispensary Machine requires an assortment of labor intensive jobs in order for it to work. Jobs range from the manufacturing of hundreds of machines, to the aquisition of inventory. In addition to all of this, there are important logistics involved that requires Transportation Managers, Drivers, Packers, Sales Representatives, Leasing Agents, Purchasing Managers, Warehouse Managers, Inventory Specialists, Stock Persons, Human Resources Managers, Machine Operators, Team Supervisors, Safety Specialists, Computer Operators, and so on, and so on, and so on.
WHAT ABOUT THE SKATE SHOPS?
We've taken into account the consequences of having a smart machine do all the work. As a result of placing hundreds of SDM's in the marketplace many skate shops will begin to diminish. The team is committed to keeping the "support your skate shop" motto that is shared among skateboarders. We intend to solve that problem by allowing owners of skate shops the opportunity to lease compact versions of the SDM to sell their own products.
